Affiliate Disclosure

Builder Buys (builderbuys.com) is run by Barry Beck. Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a qualifying purchase, Builder Buys may earn a commission. This comes at no extra cost to you — the price you pay is the same either way.

What that means for recommendations

• Recommendations are based on my experience building custom homes, not on which product pays a commission.
• If a product has drawbacks, I'll say so, whether or not it's linked.
• I don't accept payment to write positive reviews.
• If a product was provided free or at a discount, the guide will say so.

Where you'll see affiliate links

Affiliate links may appear in guides, product comparisons, and lists on this site. Where practical, guides will note near the top that they contain affiliate links.

Sponsored content and advertising

In the future, Builder Buys may include sponsored placements or display advertising. Anything sponsored will be clearly labeled as such, and sponsors will not decide which products are recommended or how they are ranked in our guides.
